Books and their covers. They tell us an incomplete tale. A Wrinkle in Time? One of my most favorite books as a child. Trying to get Cole to read it a few years ago? Impossible. Why? The creepy cover on the left. Apparently he didn’t think the late 70’s artwork was worth trying. Ultimately, a new copy, and all I had to do was read the opening line “It was a dark and stormy night..” and he was hooked. For the whole series.
